M.E.T ON-SITE is a locally owned and operated company which provides top quality certification and recertification courses for Fall Protection, Elevating Work Platforms, Forklifts, Overhead Crane, Rigging and Earth Moving Equipment. Our experienced instructor provides engaging classroom discussion combined with hands-on experience, using machines on our clients’ worksites. Operators learn on the machines they use on the job, a method proven to give a strong and enduring learning experience. We keep our class sizes small allowing extra time for each student to spend on the equipment. M.E.T ON-SITE maintains close relationships with leading manufacturers and equipment suppliers, keeping updated on developments in the industry. The curriculum meets or exceeds the Canadian Standards Association and the workplace requirements and regulations. M.E.T ON-SITE is dedicated to enhancing safety in the workplace, employee morale, performance, productivity, and profitability.
The training starts in the classroom where safety, rules, regulations, mechanics, inspections, maintenance, and operating techniques are taught and reviewed. The importance of training for both the employer as well as the employee will also be covered. There will then be a Q & A session followed by a written exam. The remainder of the day will be outside where the student will take the knowledge gained and put it into practical use. At the end of the day the trainee will be assessed on their practical ability. M.E.T ON-SITE’s goal is to produce satisfied customers. We are committed to customer service and ensuring each customer has a safe, high quality, and enjoyable learning experience. Company specific customized training requests are optional. M.E.T ON-SITE collects written customer satisfaction surveys from all of its customers and all management and key personnel review these to evaluate the job we are doing. About our Instructor
Our qualified instructor has several years of training experience. He is a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic as well as a certified Heavy Equipment Operator. He has an extensive background in construction, logging, agriculture, and mining. He keeps current on all certifications, trainings, and tests to ensure that his abilities are optimum for the safe operation of various machines.
